Obi Ojimadu warns all foreign students about a new robbery system at Kyiv, Ukraine airport.

‘Obi Ojimadu’ is a resident of Ukraine and a Businessman known by Africans and non-Africans in Ukraine as a mentor and life coach.

On the 31st of August ‘Obi Ojimadu’ shared a post on ‘Facebook’ to warn foreign students returning from home about a new robbery system by some unknown hoodlums; who will introduce themselves as ‘Bla Bla Car’ taxi drivers in order to steal from any passenger they carry.

Meet Mr. Obi Ojimadu.

The wife of Obi Ojimadu known as Mrs. Nkiru Ojimadu also spoke about the incident on her Facebook live video warning foreigners coming new to Ukraine or from a vacation back home to stay safe from robbers who claim to be taxi drivers at the airport.

Nkiru Ojimadu urged every foreign person coming to Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city airport to stay safe either by using a recognized bus company, stay with a friend in Kyiv or rent an apartment in Kyiv rather than use Bla Bla Cars’ taxi drivers who might steal from them.

Here is what Obi Ojimadu said: “Attention too all foreigners especially students arriving at Borispol Airport!!! There is a syndicate operating from the Borispol Airport, who specialises in drugging and robbing students arriving from the summer holidays. The members of the group introduce themselves as Bla Bla Cars drivers and offer a cheap ride mainly to Kharkov City.”

“They do their best to gain the trust of the unsuspecting students and on the way offer them Juice or water laced with sedatives. The students get robbed and thrown out of the car. Amongst these criminals are two foreigners who introduce themselves as Armenian and Moroccan, they operate in a Black Skoda car with a foreign (European) number. I have received two of such cases in the past six days.”

“I strongly advice that when you arrive at the Borispol airport, join the known Bus services (Autolux and Gunsel) or travel to the Kiev train station by the shuttle bus or book a taxi through a taxi company. In any case, don’t accept drinks from drivers and be at alert. Inform someone about your journey and stay in touch with him.”

Attention!!!! To everyone residing in Ukraine stay safe from these men, use registered bus companies or the official ‘Bla Bla Car’ website. Don’t travel with unknown transporters who offer their services.
