Lewis Hine’s Facebook birthday video has gone viral with more than 5 million views.

After Lewis Hine a young 16-year old teenager posted a video online, it has been viewed more than five million times on Facebook and shared by many viewers.

Lewis Hine said the video was meant to raise awareness about brain tumor and also to celebrate his 16th birthday.. Lewis Hine, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor aged 17 months, wrote in his caption: “Today is my 16th Birthday please help me celebrate by watching and sharing my video to raise awareness. Thank you from Lewis”


 
Lewis said: “I put the video together as I wanted people to know that everyone has challenges in their lives and we all face them in own unique ways.

“My illness and disability is a massive challenge and, although it may define the length of my life, it won’t define how I live it.”

The Portsmouth teenager has undergone more than thirteen brain surgeries since his initial diagnosis to survive. Despite his tough hand in life, he also dedicates his time to helping others.
