Hilarious moment as Katy Perry’s backing dancer falls off stage at Brit 2017

Hilarious moment as Katy Perry’s 2017 BRIT Awards backing dancer wearing house costume falls off stage during her performance.

One of Katy Perry’s backing dancers fell off the stage during her performance at the Brit Awards 2017. The backing dancer was dressed as a white house. The backing dancer probably missed some few steps mistakenly slipped and plunged into the crowd; when the US singer was showcasing her new single Chained to the Rhythm.

A certain audience member Reece Jordan Doonan‏ captured a short video of how the backing dancer fell off stage at Brit 2017 and shared it on Twitter with the caption: “OH MY GOD! Demolition on stage for Katy Perry.” It was also recorded by ‘the Guardian’, ‘Telegraph’ and many other news websites and audiences.

Social media users questioned whether the background performer was “the left shark” from the 32-year-old’s Super Bowl performance in 2015 when a dancer dressed as a shark became out of sync. They were quick to name the unbalanced dancer the “new Left Shark”, after one of Perry’s dancers from her 2015 Super Bowl performance famously forgot their moves while dressed as a shark, and became an internet sensation in the process.

The U.S. pop singer delivered a political statement with her performance of “Chained to the Rhythm,” with support from Skip Marley, rows of lit-up miniature houses and a pair of giant skeletons decked out in outfits similar to those worn by U.S. president Donald Trump and U.K. prime minister Theresa May.
