‘Chris Blue’ a 26-year-old worship leader from Knoxville, Tenn emerged winner of NBC’s “The Voice” season 12.

The winner of NBC’s “The Voice” season 12 is Chris Blue a worship leader from Knoxville, Tenn, he was the last contestant chosen during the blind auditions.

Chris Blue’s victory made his coach Alicia Keys, a first-time winning coach at the NBC competition.

On Monday at the finals Chris Blue performed original song Money on You; a duet with Keys of Prince’s Diamonds and Pearls; and the showstopping closer, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation.

On Tuesday’s finale, he performed Everybody Hurts with Usher. Blue beat Team Blake Shelton’s Lauren Duski and Aliyah Moulden and Team Adam Levine’s Jesse Larson.

Chris Blue said he is still shocked at hearing the news; he practically didn’t sleep the night he became the winner of NBC’s “The Voice” season 12. Chris Blue now has a $100,000 grand prize and a record deal.
